Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to monitor the bank's commercial loan portfolio, ensure timely risk ratings, and support relationship managers. Construction loan experience is desirable, with collaboration across Credit Risk and Underwriting teams.

This is an onsite role Monday through Thursday, with Fridays optional remote work. The compensation ranges from $61,500 to $110,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in Commercial Lending as Portfolio Manager/Relationship Manager/Underwriter with moderate to complex loans.
• Ability to perform financial analysis, assess risk, review documentation, coordinate loan closings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor credit performance of commercial borrowers and ensure timely escalation or remediation.
• Report on portfolio monitoring activities and ensure adherence to policies and thresholds.
• Engage with customers to discuss operating performance and covenant compliance.
• Spread financials and model cash flows for default risk assessment and collateral valuation.
• Present analysis during credit discussions and coordinate with Credit Risk and Underwriting teams.
