Job summary

Alera Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager – Property & Casualty to partner with Producers, service a portfolio of commercial clients, and help drive long-term client success. You'll manage day-to-day client service, review policies, prepare proposals, and coordinate with carriers to secure the right coverage.

A valid P&C license and 2+ years of experience are required, with AMS360/EPIC knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Partner with Producers to coordinate new business, renewals, and marketing strategies
• Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and support renewal presentations
• Review policies and endorsements to ensure accurate coverage and compliance
• Respond to client requests, process policy changes, and provide claims support
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records within the agency management system
• Build strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams while identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience
