Job summary

Alera Group, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for Property & Casualty to service an existing personal lines book and support growth through new business. The role partners with Producers and other team members to deliver responsive service and accurate policy changes.

Hybrid work is available with preferred Stevens Point location. The candidate will review policies, address coverage gaps, and maintain strong client relationships while staying compliant with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal lines insurance client service or account management.
• Working knowledge of insurance policies, forms, terminology, and coverage structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and explain coverage clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to personal lines clients by managing and servicing an existing book of business.
• Review policies with clients to identify coverage gaps and recommend enhancements, including increased limits or additional lines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Submit and support claims with carriers, assisting clients through escalated claim issues as needed.
• Contribute to client retention and growth through referrals, cross-selling, and prospecting efforts.
