Job summary

Alera Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager – Property & Casualty to partner with Producers and support a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. This hybrid role focuses on service delivery, coverage accuracy, and carrier negotiations to drive client success.

You will collaborate with a team to prepare renewals, propose improvements, and maintain precise client records while upholding regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required at minimum.
• 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting.
• Excellent communication, organization and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Partner with Producers to coordinate new business, renewals, and marketing strategies.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and support renewal presentations.
• Review policies and endorsements to ensure accurate coverage and compliance.
• Respond to client requests, process policy changes, and provide claims support.
• Maintain documentation and client records within the agency management system.
• Build relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams; identify opportunities to improve service.

Skills
