Job summary

Central One is seeking a skilled Commercial Lending Analyst to support the management of the credit portfolio. You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flows and collateral values to prepare credit analyses for new loans, renewals and extensions.

The role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and collaborative work within a banking environment. The position reports to the VP of Commercial Lending and offers a hybrid work arrangement after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or finance.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis experience in a banking environment; a working knowledge of commercial credit analysis.
• Knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques; strong understanding of loan risk factors; ability to independently gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data to provide well-considered recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collect monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for commercial loan members.
• Monitor and manage the commercial loan portfolio for collateral, credit quality and risk indicators.
• Ensure timely loan renewals and covenants monitoring.
• Prepare clear credit documentation, review memoranda and risk commentary for internal approvals.
• Review exceptions and documentation issues to ensure compliance and escalation as needed.
• Assist in development of loan concentration and property sensitivity analyses.
• Provide analytical support to the commercial lending team and assist with audits.
