Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP seeks aCollections Specialist for its Chicago office on a hybrid basis. The role supports the Revenue Management team, coordinating with Billing Attorneys, clients, and staff to drive timely receivable collections and maintain strong relationships.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in collections, a related degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of collections experience, preferably in the legal or professional services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily collection activities and collaborates with Billing Attorneys to address aged receivable issues and determine collection strategy.
• Meets monthly with Billing Attorneys to review aged balances and provide status to local and firm management.
• Communicates A/R information to office and firm management and prepares collection reports for discussion.
