Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (PCA) to support the RN on 6 South Telemetry in a fast-paced adult medical unit.

The role includes glucose monitoring, EKGs, dressing changes, CPR/AED response, and patient-family care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model. The position is full-time, evenings, 40 hours per week, with every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• AHA Heartsaver, CPR and AED program required.

Responsibilities

• Support the RN with clinical tasks on the unit, including but not limited to blood glucose monitoring.
• Perfom EKGs and assist with dressings and aseptic technique.
• Respond to medical emergencies using Heartsaver CPR and AED skills.
• Contribute to patient and family centered care on a fast-paced telemetry unit.
