Job summary

The State of Maryland seeks a Computer Network Specialist Supervisor to lead the Network Infrastructure team. You will manage the enterprise AD/SSO framework, secure hybrid cloud networks, and oversee on‑prem Juniper/Fortinet devices alongside modern AWS networking architectures including Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.

• Experience managing enterprise AD, ADFS and identity systems.
• Strong background in hybrid network design and cloud networking.
• Hands-on with AWS networking services and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead network infrastructure and AD management for hybrid environments.
• Oversee Juniper and Fortigate devices and inter‑agency connectivity.
• Design and manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route 53, and load balancers.
• Apply Zero Trust security principles and patching cycles.
• Coordinate change management using ServiceNow and JIRA.
