Job summary

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a Senior Network Administrator II to design, operate, and improve a hybrid network spanning multiple sites and a cloud hub. The role emphasizes reliable connectivity, secure remote access, SD-WAN operations, proactive monitoring, and disciplined change management in a compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring daily operations, upgrading devices, supporting AD/M365/Azure, and mentoring staff, with emphasis on HIPAA and IT security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of equivalent work experience as a Network Engineer.
• Experience with SD-WAN and multi-site WAN architectures.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and Wi-Fi.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure network daily operations are maintained and documented.
• Support, configure, maintain and upgrade network devices, firewalls and servers.
• Install and integrate new network hardware and firmware, servers and applications; update inventory.
• Support Active Directory, M365/Azure deployments as tier II network admin.
• Mentor junior IT staff and develop runbooks for faster resolutions.
• Ensure security, compliance, and change control in production environments.
• Provide escalation support for major outages and perform root-cause analysis.
• Perform disaster recovery and backups for critical services.
