Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support a critical Sponsor office managing hybrid-cloud infrastructure and services. You will lead Windows/Linux engineering, virtualization, AD/DNS/DFS/DHCP workloads, and secure baselines (DISA STIGs) in AWS and on‑prem environments.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 5+ years in federal or enterprise settings, and hands-on VMware NSX-T/ vCenter experience.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
5+ years of progressive systems engineering/infrastructure operations.
Experience with Linux servers and workstations.
Experience with VMware vCenter and NSX-T.

Responsibilities

Lead systems engineering across Windows/Linux servers, storage, and virtualization.
Provide Tier 2–4 engineering support in a 24/7 environment.
Maintain virtualization infra and automation solutions.
Configure Windows servers in AWS and on-premises per Sponsor security posture.
Manage AD, DNS, DFS, and DHCP services.
Oversee data center operations including capacity planning and hardware lifecycle.
Coordinate risk assessments and resolve cross-team engineering challenges.
Monitor performance and alert when thresholds are reached.
Track service requests and changes using ServiceNow.
