Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support a critical Sponsor office, building and securing hybrid-cloud infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS. You will lead Tier 2–4 troubleshooting, maintain AD/DNS/DFS/DHCP, and enforce DISA STIG security baselines to ensure mission availability.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, and multi-tier support.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments and virtualization.
• Experience deploying and administering VMware vCenter & NSX-T.
• Experience operating Active Directory, DNS, DFS, and DHCP.
• Proven track record implementing DISA STIGs in government security posture.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Check_MK, McAfee ePO, and BitLocker.
• Experience using ServiceNow for incident lifecycle and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering efforts across Windows and Linux servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization.
• Provide Tier 2–4 engineering support and root-cause analysis in a 24/7 environment.
• Maintain virtualization infrastructure, including VMware vCenter and NSX-T.
• Build and maintain Windows servers in AWS and on-premises, aligning with security baselines.
• Manage core services: AD, DNS, DFS, DHCP.
• Perform data center operations including capacity planning and hardware lifecycle.
