Job summary
D2 Technical Services is seeking an IT Engineer to support a Federal Intelligence Agency contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will manage Windows and Linux desktop and server systems across multiple secure environments, delivering Tier II support in a hybrid Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph, DoD 8570 training within 6 months, and a strong background in enterprise IT administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent technical training/experience.
- 8+ years of systems administration for Windows and Linux.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- DoD 8570 CE training within 6 months of hire; IA certifications like Security+ CE preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier II support across Windows and Linux environments.
- Administer Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
- Provide Linux desktop support and user environment optimization.
- Lead incident management and triage for system incidents.
- Collaborate with teams to improve reliability and security.
