Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support a sponsor office, building and operating hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure. You will maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, AD/DNS/DFS/DHCP, and provide Tier 2–4 engineering in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, experience with DISA STIGs, and hands-on work in AWS and on-prem data centers. Strong collaboration across teams and incident lifecycle management are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, and multi-tier support in federal or enterprise environments.
Experience with Windows and Linux server administration and virtualization infrastructure.
Experience deploying and maintaining VMware vCenter and NSX-T in mixed environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform systems engineering across Windows and Linux servers, storage platforms, and virtualization environments.
Provide Tier 2–Tier 4 engineering support, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution in a 24/7 environment.
Manage virtualization infrastructure maintenance, including VMware vCenter and NSX-T.
Build and maintain Windows servers in AWS and on-premises, aligning with sponsor security posture.
Operate core services like Active Directory, DNS, DFS, and DHCP.
Coordinate risk assessments, schedules, and issue resolution across teams.
