FLOWERS.com Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Engineer to support and improve enterprise hybrid cloud platforms across IBM Power, AIX, Linux, and Azure. The role blends hands-on engineering with Terraform and Puppet automation, Git-based workflows, and cloud/on‑prem management.

The engineer will drive reliability, security, and cost-aware operations across data centers and cloud services. Responsibilities include administering IBM Power/AIX environments, VIOS, HMC, NIM, and SAN storage; building

Qualifications

7+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure and hybrid operations.
Advanced Red Hat Linux and IBM Power/AIX administration experience.
Azure cloud engineering experience with virtual machines, networking, storage, and governance.
Proficient with Puppet, Terraform, and Git for automation and code management.
Strong scripting skills using Unix shells and standard utilities.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize IBM Power/AIX systems, VIOS, HMC, NIM, and SAN storage.
Develop and maintain Puppet modules and Terraform configurations for infrastructure.
Manage Git-based workflows, reviews, and release processes for automation.
Design and operate Azure hybrid infrastructure and related resiliency practices.
Create automation in Bash/ksh and maintain runbooks for incident response.
Ensure security, compliance, change governance, and reliability across platforms.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data center and platform maintenance.
Troubleshoot complex incidents spanning on-prem and cloud environments.
