Job summary

Providence is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to promote the understanding, integration, and effective use of clinical information technology in healthcare settings. The CIS will act as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, supporting caregivers across the care continuum in implementing, learning, using, adopting, and optimizing clinical technologies.

The role is hybrid with a strong emphasis on collaboration, education, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline, IT/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years in a role with primary duties on a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between clinical practice and Information Services to support caregivers.
