Job summary

Wilhite Law Firm in Denver seeks a Clinical Care Coordinator to serve as the clinical resource for clients during the Pre-Litigation process. You will coordinate medical care and act as liaison between clients, providers, and the legal team.

Responsibilities include identifying appropriate healthcare providers, scheduling appointments, addressing barriers to care, documenting activity in firm systems, and building strong provider relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge – RN, LPN, NP, PA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in clinical healthcare, care coordination, patient advocacy, or treatment coordination.
• Experience in personal injury, healthcare, insurance, case management, workers' compensation, or medical care coordination preferred.
• Ability to navigate healthcare systems, coordinate care, and remove barriers that affect treatment continuity and patient outcomes.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment progression, and healthcare delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical liaison between clients, medical providers, and the legal team for treatment coordination.
• Assist clients with identifying appropriate healthcare providers and coordinating medical appointments, referrals, testing, and follow-up care.
• Help clients navigate the healthcare system by addressing obstacles to continuity of care.
• Monitor treatment plans, appointments, physician recommendations, discharge status, and gaps in care.
• Identify stalled treatment or non-adherence and elevate concerns to Case Manager and attorney for review.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.
• Accurately document treatment activity and communications in firm systems (Filevine, Case Status).
