Job summary

The position emphasizes critical thinking, data entry, and strong customer service, with typical hours 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday, onsite 1 day weekly at South Lake Union.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in MS Word, email, and data entry in a Windows-based environment.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all patient appointments related to treatment and communicates schedule to patients.
• Coordinates scheduling with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Works closely with patients, families, providers, and staff to identify needs and resolve problems.
• Updates patient and caregiver contact information in the EHR when needed.
• Triage calls from referring physicians, patients, and others wishing to access care.
