Job summary

Altus Dental in Providence, RI is seeking a Sales-Client Relations Coordinator to support the sales team with new group prospecting and client retention. You will coordinate with district reps and account managers, handling service requests and generating reports to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience servicing group medical/dental plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Candidates should be well versed in operations of group benefits carriers with a working knowledge of enrollment, billing, claims processing and customer service functions
• Insurance Producer’s License is required within the first year of employment
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Experience of working in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce or other similar marketing databases

Responsibilities

• Provides account level servicing (i.e. receiving service calls and correspondence from account decision makers and their staff and promptly resolving any concerns or requests).
• Coordinates special projects related to day-to-day management of assigned territories.
• Provides staffing and product expertise at health and benefit fairs and at times participates in open enrollment benefits presentations.
• Manages the contract process and is responsible for routing, sending, and tracking all account agreements.
• Facilitates the production of benefits literature.
• Responsible for initial setup and ongoing management of all account management reports for Altus Sales.
• Collaborates with sales support team members on department administrative tasks.
• Effectively manages the activities of the marketing database (Salesforce, PowerBi and Benefit Builder).
• Oversees the department’s utilization of a temp and marketing intern/student, when applicable.
• Manages the small group renewal process; Assists Sr. District Reps in releasing of renewals for groups of 2 – 50 lives on a monthly basis.
• Manages broker process by working collaboratively with Underwriting and Finance to facilitate setup of new brokers and broker changes .
• Works with VP of Sales to manage department budget as it relates to sponsorships, events, and promotional items.
• Manages department inventory of sales and marketing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
