Job summary

Altus Dental in Providence, RI, is seeking a Sales-Client Relations Coordinator to support the sales team with group prospecting and client retention. You will coordinate territory activities, manage account communications, and assist in preparing materials for benefits fairs and enrollments.

The role requires 3–5 years of group health/dental plan experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with enrollment, billing, and customer service processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience servicing group medical/dental plans preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidates should be well versed in operations of group benefits carriers with knowledge of enrollment, billing, claims processing and customer service functions.
• Insurance Producer’s License required within the first year of employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce or other marketing databases.

Responsibilities

• Provides account level servicing by receiving service calls and correspondence from account decision makers and staff; promptly resolves concerns or requests.
• Coordinates special projects related to day-to-day management of assigned territories.
• Staffs and provides product expertise at health and benefit fairs; participates in open enrollment presentations when needed.
• Manages the contract process; routes, sends, and tracks all account agreements.
• Facilitates production of benefits literature.
• Creates and maintains all account management reports for Altus Sales.
• Collaborates with the sales support team on department administrative tasks.
• Manages the marketing database (Salesforce, PowerBi, Benefit Builder).
• Oversees use of a temporary staff and marketing intern/student; manages renewal processes for small groups monthly.
• Works with VP of Sales to manage department budget related to sponsorships, events, and promotional items.
• Manages inventory of sales and marketing materials.
