Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking a Claims Operations professional in Dearborn, Michigan. The role emphasizes analytical skills, attention to detail, and solving complex payment and reconciliation tasks within our Claims team.

You will balance and reconcile deposits, review checks, and ensure accurate fund allocation across claim systems. The position is hybrid with initial in-office training and rotating reporting days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or three years of experience in processing, customer service or business administration.
• Valid driver’s license if the role involves in-person inspections or meetings.
• Experience with claims processing and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support to the Claims department across one or more lines of business and one or more claims systems.
• Work independently with limited supervision to complete analytical tasks and data synthesis.
• Receive inbound and make outbound calls to resolve claims needs.
• Review claim documents for accuracy and determine next actions.
• Train junior staff in departmental processes and procedures.
• Process paperwork for outgoing checks and investigate stop pay requests.
• Balance and reconcile all claim deposits and allocate funds to correct coverage in the claim systems.
