Job summary

Arbella Insurance Group is hiring for a Claim Service Specialist in a hybrid role. You will engage with customers who recently experienced a loss, inspect documentation, and determine coverage and reserves while negotiating settlements.

The position emphasizes customer service excellence, strong communication, and detailed file preparation. Training is provided; a genuine helping attitude is valued, with a work schedule around 36.25 hours per week.

• Some customer service work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Talk directly with people who have recently experienced a loss, inspect the damage and investigate all documentation to ensure each detail is recorded accurately and fairly
• Thoroughly check claim case facts, determine coverage, liability and reserves, and report on settlements
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys and other carriers with poise and professionalism
• Prepare and maintain well-written files and keep teams up-to-date on current claims
