Vega Claims in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Claims Operations Associate to help build and run a modern commercial insurance claims workflow. You will assist insureds and agents, accept losses, and provide updates to the claims team while entering data into our system.

This hybrid role requires 2+ years in a customer-facing or call center environment, with strong communication, detail orientation, and familiarity with auto claims.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a call center or customer-facing role with strong communication, time management and attention to detail.
• Commercial Insurance background a plus.
• Strong property and casualty exposure in auto preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in high-growth fast paced environments.
• Strong collaborator with team members across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls/emails from agents, brokers and insureds reporting new losses.
• Enter data accurately into the claims management system and communicate clearly.
• Provide high-level claim insights for losses previously reported (claim numbers, handling adjuster contact).
• Handle special projects and duties within the claims organization.
