RLI, a leading specialty insurer, is seeking a Claim Examiner-Casualty BI/PD on a hybrid schedule (Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Alpharetta, GA). You will proactively handle general liability claims for bodily injury and property damage, assess coverage, investigate promptly, and reserve appropriately.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in business, insurance or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience; a law degree is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling general liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage.
• Strong knowledge of case law, statutes and procedures impacting claims handling.
• Proactive investigation, risk transfer, and claims resolution skills.

• Proactively handle general liability claims (bodily injury and property damage) to achieve fair, expeditious, and economical payouts.
• Assess and analyze coverage issues and issue appropriate letters/documentation.
• Complete timely investigations and establish appropriate reserves.
• Pursue risk transfer opportunities and manage attorney relationships as needed.
• Adhere to company best practices and resolve claims promptly for favorable outcomes.
