Job summary

Sentry Insurance Company is seeking a Claims Co-op in Stevens Point, WI. The role offers part-time hours during the school year and full-time during breaks, with a hybrid work model and this position being based at our Stevens Point location.

You will gain hands-on experience in claims investigations, negotiation, and customer communication. Eligible students pursue a related field and must meet GPA and graduation-date requirements, while developing strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergrad or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, English or related field.
• Minimum GPA 2.7 and expected graduation May 2029–Dec 2029.
• Work up to 20 hours/week during school and up to 40 hours/week on breaks.
• Ability to work in a team and obtain licensing as needed.
• Sentry does not sponsor certain visa types for this program.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on insight into claims negotiations and settlements.
• Support customers through the claims process with care.
• Review policy details to verify coverage and limits.
• Investigate loss details by gathering facts and reviewing docs.
