• Ability to work up to 20 hours a week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours a week during breaks.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.

We're looking to recruit UW-Stevens Point for our Claims Co-op program.In this program you'll have the opportunity to work part-time while attending classes and full-time during summers.Our co-op program is designed to provide you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in our Stevens Point location.

What You'll Do

The Claims co-op students will work closely with a mentor to understand how claims are handled.

Our Claims Co-op offers opportunities to:

• Gain hands-on insight into claims negotiations and settlement processes to help reach fair resolutions for customers.
• Stand by customers during stressful times, guiding them through the claims process with genuine care and understanding.
• Review policy details to accurately verify coverage and policy limits for current customers.
• Dive into the details of a loss by gathering facts and reviewing documentation to understand what happened.
• Maintain clear, thorough records of all investigations, communications, and steps taken throughout the claims process.

What it Takes

In order to be eligible for this elite opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Business, Insurance, Communication, and English or a related field
• Obtain a minimum GPA of 2.7
• Expected graduation date of May 2029 through December 2029
• Ability to work up to 20 hours a week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours a week during breaks
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Obtain required licensing as needed
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
