Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

• Experience with workers' compensation or general liability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Originate claims in the claims management system.
• Answer the Risk Management toll free phone line and route calls.
• File state reports (FROI) and EDI.
• Approve new vendors and update vendor addresses.
• Process department checks and distribute payments.
• Communicate new claims to the TPA when appropriate.
• Run wage statements for adjusters.
• Sort and index medical bills for routing.
• Provide general support to the Risk Management team.
