Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct claim investigations including assessment of policy coverage and liability.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, and attorneys regarding claim status.
• Assist insureds with inquiries prior to formal claim handling.
• Document claim files timely and accurately.
• Review medical and dental records to evaluate claims.
• Prepare case summaries for committee meetings.
• Set timely indemnity and expense reserves.
• Prepare settlement authority requests and conduct negotiations when appropriate.
