Progressive Insurance is hiring a claims adjuster trainee in Fargo, ND. You will learn to evaluate coverage and liability, interview claimants and witnesses, coordinate vehicle repairs, and negotiate with customers and carriers within a structured training program.

The role is hybrid: in-office two days per week with flexible remote days, with a 12-month training period and ongoing coaching from leaders. Salary during training is hourly, followed by an annual salary of $54,000–$57,500 plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associates degree with work experience as an alternative.
• Three years of work experience, or two years with an associate degree.
• Must reside in or near Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage and liability for claims.
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurers to resolve claims.
• Manage claims through the lifecycle from intake to resolution.
