Progressive is hiring a claims adjuster trainee in Sioux Falls, SD for a hybrid role with in-office and remote work options. You will learn to manage claims from start to finish while building relationships over the phone and receiving coaching from leaders.

During training, you’ll follow a schedule of 8:30am–5:30pm, with after training hours varying. Salary starts at $54,000–$57,500 per year after training, with an annual gainshare incentive, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include three years of work experience, or a Bachelor's degree, or two years of work experience with an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims during training.
• Determine liability for damages.
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims.
