Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Minnesota. You’ll learn how to help customers after an accident, building relationships over the phone in a hybrid role with in-office days and flexible remote work for 12 months.

Duties include determining coverage and liability, interviewing customers and witnesses, coordinating with appraisers, and negotiating with carriers to resolve claims. Training covers property damage, contracts, and comprehensive claims processes.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
