Job summary

RLI in Peoria, IL is seeking a Claim Operations Assistant I to provide basic operational and customer service support for the claim department administration.

You will accurately process and prepare recovery, expense, and indemnity checks, wire transfers, and letters; handle claim intake, answer inquiries, route callers; scan and import documents; support billing and reporting; and assist with projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma.
• 0+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent level of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic operational support for claim administration and examiners.
• Accurately process and prepare recovery, expense, and indemnity checks, wire transfers, and letters.
• Provide quality customer-service by handling claim intake, inquiries, routing callers to appropriate departments.
• Prepare incoming correspondences for scanning; scan/import documents to work queues and claim files.
• Support electronic billing, maintain reports and codes, and assist with projects.
