Job summary

RLI Insurance Company in the United States is seeking a skilled underwriting support professional to assist Contrac Pac Underwriters and Agency base. You will create policy documents, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain electronic underwriting files, and provide telephone support for internal and external contacts.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data management, and timely processing within a robust Total Rewards program including ESOP and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years related experience in insurance.
• Direct commercial insurance experience preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain agency and producer information in portal system.
• Provide telephone support for incoming calls from agents, customers and underwriters.
• Process email requests and assist with compliance/licensing tasks.
• Create policy documents representing insurance transactions.
• Ensure policy issuance complies with regulatory requirements.
• Order loss runs when requested.
• Maintain electronic underwriting file.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
• Re-format data for import into front end system.
• Provide basic operational support for the product line’s underwriters.
