Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Statics, structural analysis, steel and concrete design coursework emphasized.
• 0–2 years Civil/Structural exp; electric transmission line design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze overhead transmission structures from 69kV to 500kV.
• Develop and review drawings and calculations for steel poles, lattice towers, and foundations.
• Create transmission line models in PLS-CADD for structure loading.
• Daily use of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and MFAD.
• Review vendor submittals for steel, concrete, and micropile foundations.
• Ensure QA/QC and follow project management practices.
