Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• New York State Professional Engineer certification preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams with or without direct supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil / structural support for a wide range of design modification projects and studies.
• Perform site visits to complete field inspections and develop technical recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary activities for project development and execution.
• Provide expertise in codes, standards and procedures interpretation.
• Review designs, calculations, and reports from internal and external sources.
• Develop technical scopes of work for external consultants.
• Develop construction specifications and related calculations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
