Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site feasibility, master planning, and permitting for data centers and large industrial sites. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, ensure design integrity, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with AHJs and clients across multiple states.

We value a PE-license, strong collaboration, and a hands-on leadership style to deliver sustainable, compliant solutions in dynamic markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license is strongly preferred with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience for large, complex projects.
• Strong project management and technical expertise in grading, drainage, permitting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center and large industrial projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and client communications across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and authorities while navigating codes and standards.
• Review deliverables, mentor engineers and staff, and support business development.
