Job summary

We are excited to offer a Civil Engineering Intern position with Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Worcester, MA. You will join our Site Civil Design Team to assist with infrastructure projects across the Northeast and deliver sustainable, resilient results.

You’ll work with industry experts on CAD drafting, data analysis, and project support while experiencing a hybrid work environment that supports professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Previous and relevant work experience.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems.
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile, and examine a wide variety of project-related data.
• Assist staff with various projects and/or field assignments.
• Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer.
• Prepare written communications including emails, memorandum, field reports, and specifications.
