Job summary

Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Providence, RI is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Site Civil Design Team on a hybrid schedule.

You will assist in delivering infrastructure projects across the Northeast, under the guidance of industry experts. This internship offers learning opportunities, mentorship, and hands-on CAD drafting, data analysis, and problem solving to support project teams and client needs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems.
• Flexibility and a positive attitude with open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile, and examine project-related data.
• Assist staff with various projects and/or field assignments.
• Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer.
• Prepare written communications including emails, memoranda, field reports, and specifications.
