Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Civil Drainage Engineer II for Transportation projects in Corona/Irvine/San Diego areas. The role supports drainage and culvert design, hydraulic modeling, and documentation for design-build and design-bid-build projects across California.

You will work in a flexible, team-focused environment with opportunities to advance. Hybrid remote work is available with two days per week from home.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience with drainage and culvert systems design for transportation projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is required.
• Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
• Experience on California Department of Transportation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.
• Prepare budget and schedule, plan the work, provide technical direction, and report status.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and Engineers on the project.
• May be assigned to a project or team, or act as lead engineer for a discipline on small to intermediate-size projects.
• Performs other responsibilities as appropriate.
