TYPSA, Inc. is seeking a Drainage Designer/EIT-2 for our Irvine, CA office.

The role focuses on designing municipal and state drainage and roadway projects, with potential duties as project engineer, and requires strong communication skills and self-motivation. The candidate will develop hydrology/hydraulic models, perform design calculations, and coordinate with teams while traveling within California and nearby states.

Formación

• BSCE required; EIT or PE goal within a year.
• 2+ years civil experience with EIT or 5+ years with advanced registration/foreign licensure.
• Ability to test and pass PE exam within a year or already passed.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; familiarity with Civil 3D/OpenRoads is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review and interpretation of hydrology and hydraulic reports.
• Development of hydrology and hydraulic models.
• Preparation and checking of design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and project plans.
• Travel periodically within California and neighboring states; promote positive team environment.
