Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience in drainage and culvert design for transportation projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering PC software is required.
• California DOT project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop drainage and culvert design for transportation projects.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and quality checks on designs.
• Review construction details and erosion control drawings.
• Produce and check engineering data and reports.
• Provide technical guidance to drafters and junior engineers.
• Collaborate on CALTRANS-related assignments as needed.
