Job summary

The New Jersey Youth Chorus, a program of Wharton Arts, seeks a Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations, coordinate rehearsals, events, and registrations, and support staff under the Program Director.

This full-time hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, experience in arts/nonprofit administration, and excellent communication to families and volunteers across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Experience in arts administration or nonprofit operations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with youth programs or performing arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of NJYC including rehearsals and scheduling.
• Plan concerts, workshops, tours, and manage venues and travel.
• Coordinate communications with families and staff.
• Maintain program records, calendars, and registration workflows.
• Supervise Program Assistant & Librarian and coordinate with staff.
