Job summary

City of Seattle’s Department of Education & Early Learning seeks a Child Care Program Manager to oversee the Child Care Assistance Program and related childcare investments. You will supervise four Early Education Specialists and one Senior Early Education Specialist, drive policy updates, and enhance data systems.

Qualifications

• Experience managing childcare, early childhood, and/or education focused programs.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate staff performance.
• Strong understanding of policy development and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Child Care Assistance Program and related childcare initiatives.
• Supervise four Early Education Specialists and one Senior Early Education Specialist.
• Review and update program policies and procedures; improve processes for efficiency.
• Ensure high-quality customer service within the Operations Unit.
• Develop data management procedures and serve as SME for data systems.
