Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Program Supervisor for the Early Education Center in Bellevue. You will lead curriculum planning, support the Center Director, and ensure quality childcare programs with proper staff ratios.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, parent communications, and maintaining records while adhering to DCYF standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the community to provide developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of experience working with children 0-5 years old.
• Six months or more of supervisory experience.
• DCYF education requirements including high school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning and implementation of culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintains teacher-to-child ratios and completes program plans.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and conducts conferences.
• Follows YMCA policies, medical and disciplinary procedures, and safety protocols.
• Keeps accurate records and supports food program management.
• Maintains relationships with families and community partners.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

45 college credits in ECE

ECE state certificate or equivalent
