Elevance Health in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the change request process and guide technical decisions across teams. This role blends in-office collaboration 1–2 days per week with flexible remote work, under Elevance Health's hybrid policy.

You will mentor others, review designs, and drive enhancements while ensuring alignment with business objectives and product needs. This is a leadership-facing engineering position in a dynamic healthcare tech environment.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
Five (5) years' experience with multi-dimensional platforms and FileNet.
Ability to provide technical advice and influence cross-functional decisions.
Develops and defines application scope and objectives; writes specs.

Responsabilidades

Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams.
Provides technical guidance and weighs in on decisions affecting cross-functional teams.
Researches and proposes new technologies.
Develops and maintains the list of final enhancements.
Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
Mentors others and may lead small to medium projects.
Supports on-call and monitoring of systems.
