Job summary

Elevance Health in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Engineer Lead to drive complex platform initiatives, manage requirements, and deliver scalable software solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams with Web and Marketing, guide RESTful services in Java/NodeJS, design UI/UX with Angular, and model data in MongoDB while exploring data science, AI/ML, and AWS cloud tech.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
Seven (7) years in any occupation with engineering or related experience.
Developing Restful webservices using Java/NodeJS.
Designing and developing UI/UX for web applications using Angular.
Developing Custom Data Models for DB's such as MongoDB.
Data Science, AI/ML, and Cloud Technologies such as AWS.

Responsibilities

Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
Leads efforts with Web and marketing teams to increase the presence of web products.
Implements improvements in stability, performance, and scalability of major systems.
Coordinates and manages on-call support and system monitoring.
Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.
