Qualifications

• Previous cash application experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Windows and Internet.
• Working knowledge of AS400 and JDEdwards.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cash receipts from customers (ACH, wires, and checks) are applied/reflected in the customer account and accurately recorded.
• Research and analyze unapplied customer payments requiring communication with corporate customers.
• Reconcile unapplied payments at month-end and direct the team in closing procedures.
• Maintain tracking file for monthly closing.
• Process checks for the inventory department in connection with carrying costs.
• Provide internal department support for daily receipts.
• Assist with special projects as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
