Job summary

HouseWorks, LLC is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to serve clients and caregivers in designated regions. You will be the first point of contact, arrange timely caregiver staffing, and supervise regional scheduling to ensure quality care and adherence to the company’s mission.

The role requires strong communication, proficient EMR use, and the ability to handle multiple schedules with a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in homecare or healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, EMR use, emails, and data analysis in spreadsheets.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and as a team player.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign open client schedules and complete supervisor tasks promptly.
• Directly manage new client referrals to ensure timely staffing.
• Coordinate caregiver schedules to promote consistency and control costs.
• Investigate and resolve scheduling-related client complaints with supervisor support.
• Document interactions in the EMR and keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with state care managers to update client care needs.
• Assist recruiting and participate in orientation as needed.
• Handle all phone interactions efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain organization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Support management with ad hoc duties as business needs change.
