Job summary

Cornell University’s IT at Cornell team is seeking a customer-focused Print Technician to support CU Print, Cornell's campus-wide printing service. You will be the go-to resource ensuring students, faculty, and staff have reliable access to printing services across campus.

You’ll troubleshoot printers, coordinate with Toshiba technicians, and support over 140 locations while maintaining high customer satisfaction and strong cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in relevant support
• 2+ years of Tier 1 printer/hardware software support experience
• Proven customer service focus and relationship-building
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
• Proactive troubleshooting and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and transport equipment >50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-campus support for student printing environment
• Troubleshoot printer hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Coordinate service requests with Toshiba technicians and vendors
• Support ~147 student printing devices across campus
• Manage service tickets and meet SLA targets
• Monitor supplies and inventory, maintain parts
• Process printing refund requests and escalations
• Provide hands-on training to campus printing coordinators
• Assist with testing, upgrades, and print management software
• Collaborate with IT staff and campus partners to ensure reliable printing
