Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business users and technical teams. You will troubleshoot, gather requirements, and support system enhancements across our organization, with a strong emphasis on SQL-driven data understanding.

The role blends business analysis, application support, system administration and SQL troubleshooting in a hybrid setup based at Minneapolis, MN or Houston, TX. Bachelor-level education and 5+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, BIS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in business systems analysis, application support or related roles.
• Strong SQL proficiency with ability to write and interpret queries.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to functional specs.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for projects and go-lives.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business users to understand needs, issues, processes and enhancements.
• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and administration for business applications.
• Investigate issues across data, configuration, integrations and code.
• Use SQL to research issues, validate data and support troubleshooting.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers.
• Collaborate with dev/integration teams on fixes and new functionality.
• Document workflows, data requirements and system changes.
• Develop and execute test cases and support UAT.
• Coordinate with users and IT teams to productionize changes.
• Support system implementations, upgrades and go-live activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes via technology or integrations.
