Elior North America is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business users and technical teams, troubleshooting applications, gathering requirements, and supporting system enhancements and implementations.

This hands-on role blends business analysis, application support, system administration, and SQL-based troubleshooting, with travel up to 20% as needed. The ideal candidate has strong SQL proficiency and experience with internal or custom applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, application support, systems analysis, or a related role.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including the ability to write and interpret queries and understand relational data structures.
• Experience supporting, administering, or troubleshooting business applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business users to understand application needs, issues, processes, and enhancement requests.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and administration for business applications.
• Investigate application issues and determine whether they relate to data, configuration, integrations, functionality, or application code.
• Use SQL queries to research issues, validate data, understand application structures, and support troubleshooting.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers, integration resources, and other technical teams.
